Ithaca, 2nd October 2017 KanWork Cancer Society members
visited the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes (CRCFL), Ithaca, New
York, www.crcfl.net. During the meeting, KanWork
team get to meet both the center current Executive Director, Megan M. Crowe and
past Executive Director, Bob Riter. The KanWork team gave a brief update on our
program and learned that of CRCFL. We appreciate CRCFL warm welcome and helpful
information especially on support to caregiver. We look forward to continuing
collaboration with CRCFL.
Persatuan Kanser KanWork Seri Kembangan, 4 November 2017. Satu sesi Peer Support KanWork telah diadakan
di Pejabat KanWork. Tujuan sesi ini diadakan adalah untuk para pesakit,
survivor serta penjaga (carer) berkongsi pengalaman menghadapi cabaran kanser. Seramai
11 orang peserta telah hadir yang terdiri daripada pelbagai latar belakang
kanser. Moderator bagi sesi ini ialah Cik Nurul Ashikin Saari, Pegawai
Psikologi di Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
KanWork Cancer Society Seri Kembangan, 4th November, 2017. A Peer Support KanWork
session was held at Pejabat KanWork. The purpose of this session was giving
opportunities for the patients, survivors, and caregivers sharing their experiences
how they face the challenges of cancer. A total of 11 participants attended
various cancer backgrounds. Moderator for this session was Ms Nurul Ashikin
Saari, Physiological Counsellor at Hospital Kuala Lumpur.
