Persatuan Kanser KanWork, 18 December 2015. Three KanWork members visited the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lake, Ithaca, New York, www.crcfl.net to learn about the center’s mission, program, and resource. KanWork associate member, Professor Emeritus Rosemary Caffarella of Cornell University, arranged the visit. Both the Cancer Resource Center and KanWork shared a common goal, to support those living with and affected by cancer. The Center Executive Director Bob Riter and his staff; Fran Manzella, Monica Vakiner, and Sharan Kaplan kindly offered to share their resources and knowledge with KanWork towards achieving this goal. Thank you Bob and team for the warm welcome and helpful information. We also appreciate Rosemary input. We look forward to a long-term collaboration with the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lake.
