KEMPEN KESEDARAN KANSER DI MASJID SAIDINA ABU BAKAR AS-SIDDIQ, BANGSAR



BANGSAR, 22 OKTOBER 2016 (SABTU) - Persatuan KanWork dengan kerjasama Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq, Bangsar telah menganjurkan program Kempen Kesedaran Kanser. Program ini bermula dari pukul 8.30 pagi sehingga 12.30 tengahari. Di antara pengisian program ialah Ceramah Kesedaran Kanser oleh YBhg. Prof. Madya (K) Dato’ Dr. Fuad Ismail, Pakar Onkologi, Pusat Perubatan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (PPUKM), Sesi Perkongsian Pengalaman Bersama Survivor, Pemeriksaan Kesihatan oleh LPPKN (Ujian Glukosa, Ujian Tekanan Darah, BMI, dan Ujian PAP Smear), Teknik Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri (PSP), Sembang Diet oleh  Prof. Madya Dr. Suhaina Sulaiman, Fakulti Sains Kesihatan, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Pameran Kesedaran Kanser, Jualan Buku Kanser/Doa, Mini Spa, serta Jualan Amal.
           Kempen ini mendapat sambutan yang menggalakkan daripada kariah masjid dan komuniti di sekitar Bangsar. Program ini telah dihadiri seramai lebih kurang 130 orang.  Terima kasih kepada Jawatankuasa kerja, sukarelawan KanWork, Jawatankuasa Hal Ehwal Wanita (PERWIBA) serta semua pihak yang menjayakan program ini. 
CANCER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN, MASJID SAIDINA ABU BAKAR AS-SIDDIQ, BANGSAR

BANGSAR, 22 OCTOBER 2016 (SATURDAY)– KanWork  in collaboration with Masjid Saidina Abu Bakar As-Siddiq, Bangsar organized Cancer awareness campaign. The half day programme was filled with activities such as Talks on Cancer Awareness by YBhg. Assoc. Prof. (K) Dato' Dr. Fuad Ismail, Oncologists, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre (UKMMC), Sharing Experience With Survivors, Health Screening (glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure BMI, PAP Smear Test), Breast Self-Examination (BSE), Diet Talk by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhaina Sulaiman (UKM), Cancer Awareness Exhibitions, Cancer/Doa book sales, Mini Spa, and Charity sale.
           This campaign received encouraging response from the community of Bangsar and attended a total of approximately 130 people. Thanks to those who have attended and participated in this programme.
